Qualibat is an organisation that promotes best practices and recognises excellence among construction and renovation professionals.

Project mission

For over 15 years, Qualibat has been using an internal management solution to manage its business. Faced with a technological disruption, change is necessary: this is therefore also an opportunity to address shortcomings and changes in usage.

Project implementation

Coexya’s design team conceived and designed the tool’s re-design in line with current user needs.

Through our user-centred approach, we focused on understanding users, their needs and expectations through interviews, journey mapping, information hierarchy, prototypes and testing.


1. Understanding the existing situation

Survey users about the tool to gain an overview of their daily use, understand how they feel and what they think.

Measure the usability of the system as perceived by users.

Identify irritants that need to be addressed.

Gather and acquire as much information as possible by getting users to collaborate.

2. Develop target pathways

Generate creative and innovative ideas to remedy the problems identified.

Transform data into a multitude of ideas and design solutions.

Collect, formalise and prioritise functional requirements.

Work together to develop initial sketches of the expected solution.

3. Create interfaces

Build visual representations of the interface.

Produce graphic mock-ups of the solution.

Create interactive mock-ups for user testing.

Test, iterate and develop these mock-ups throughout the design process.

 

4. Facilitate collaboration and information sharing between teams.

Organise the graphic components in the file.

Present the results to the teams.

Prepare and share all documents and working materials with the teams to save them time during the development phase.
