Pass Pass: a new unified mobility experience

Modernizing the Pass Pass ecosystem to simplify user mobility and support intermodality in the Hauts-de-France region

Pass Pass: intermodal mobility in Hauts-de-France

The Hauts-de-France Joint Mobility Authority, a joint coordination authority between AOMs in the Hauts-de-France region, uses the Pass Pass multi-service platform to facilitate and encourage the use of mobility and transport services with a view to promoting intermodality at the regional level.

This approach relies on cooperation between the Mobility Organizing Authorities (AOM) that make up the Pass Pass Community, which has been managed by the Syndicat Mixte since 2009. The Pass Pass media, which serve as a showcase for this community, include a website, a mobile app, and a multi-service platform offering passenger information services, a mobility account, and an online store for distributing tickets via smartphone or card reader.

The project aims to modernize the Pass Pass ecosystem by separating the digital components from the traditional ticketing system in order to increase openness, multi-channel distribution, and the development of a regional mobility marketplace.

In this context, Coexya, the lead contractor, oversaw the overall management of the program and the implementation of the new Pass Pass solution. In parallel with the project, its tasks included maintaining the operational condition of legacy media, managing the ecosystem, and studying, designing, deploying, and gradually replacing existing solutions.
