Modernisation and implementation of a new sales management tool to improve customer relations

Groupama is a French mutual insurance and banking group.

It offers solutions tailored to the needs of its individual, professional and corporate customers in the areas of insurance, personal protection, savings and health.

It has more than 12 million members and customers in 10 countries across Europe and Asia.

As part of the ‘Customer Relations’ programme, which aims to modernise digital tools and optimise the customer journey, Coexya supported Groupama in implementing a brand new tool dedicated to sales representatives.

This application has a number of objectives:

To provide advisors with a comprehensive overview of customers
To facilitate searches in the customer database
To simplify the monitoring of advisors’ actions

Features tailored to the needs of sales representatives

Groupama implemented a dedicated application for its sales teams to aggregate customer data and facilitate their day-to-day work.

Several features were targeted:
- Search engine for structured customer data and associated documents
- Presentation of a 360° view of the customer, consisting of a timeline of interactions
- Sales task management application, integrating a prioritisation engine based on configurable criteria: importance/urgency.

An agile approach throughout the project

Supported by a working group composed of sales representatives from various regional branches, agile workshops enabled the prioritization, development, and iterative improvement of the application and its features.

Coexya supported Groupama through several phases of the project:

Preliminary study of solutions to meet the identified needs
Project scoping and agile management
Tool specification and design
Front-end application development with Vue.js, and microservices development with Java Spring Boot
Integration and configuration of the Sinequa search engine, as well as data indexing from multiple sources, including Kafka for real-time indexing
Assistance with deployment and maintenance of the solution
