Geomod joins the Coexya group

Having changed our name from Sword France to Coexya in September 2021, we are pursuing the growth strategy that we launched a year ago. This initial acquisition is a significant first step.

Founded in 1995, Geomod is a renowned software developer in the geomatics field. The company works with clients in France and around the world, providing innovative solutions in three key areas:

• Land geomatics, particularly urban noise mapping and electromagnetic radiation mapping.
• Marine geomatics, particularly providing services and developing software for port services and helmsmen, as well as producing marine maps and standardised bathymetric charts. 
• Water management, particularly distributing and integrating mapping solutions.

Coexya is a specialist across multiple fields. We have been operating in the GIS field for over 20 years and are recognised as one of the leading companies in France in this field. We work closely with cities and local authorities. We help them to understand the challenges facing their areas, such as how to optimise transport systems, network asset management, smart cities and facility management.
